Psychotherapy & Medication Management

Whether you have problems you need help solving, past traumas you would like to work through, or would just like to know yourself better, talk therapy can be a healing & enlightening experience.

We may also discuss if there is medicine that could help. My treatment plan will be based on the latest research & your individual needs. We will also meet on a regular basis to check in and see how things are going for you.

Reproductive Psychiatry & Second Opinions

Women’s mental and reproductive health is my primary passion. I trained at the University of Miami— and remained affiliated with it— because I believe that Florida’s women need more comprehensive mental healthcare. I joined the Motherhood Center of New York in order to work alongside the most dedicated and talented professionals in perinatal psychiatry.

In my private practice, I work closely with people who are not pregnant, who are planning to become pregnant, or who are pregnant. My patients commonly deal with infertility, medically complicated pregnancies, difficulties related to IVF treatment, multiple losses, mood swings & a wide variety of concerns related to reproductive health. I often treat PMS, postpartum depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. If you have questions related to your current medications, I may also coordinate care with your current psychiatrist or prescriber.

My ongoing research deeply informs my treatment plans. I have presented my work on reproductive health at conferences held by the American Psychiatric Association, the North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics & Gynecology, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, among others. I have also undergone specialized training and collaboration with Postpartum Support International and have organized training with OBGYN residents at the University of Miami.

Fees and Payment

Intake sessions are $550 (60 minutes). Subsequent medication visits are $275. Therapy appointments are $420 (45 minutes). Payments are due before each session unless we come to a different arrangement. I accept secure payment online using any credit card, debit card or FSA card.

Although I do NOT accept insurance, many of my patients collect partial reimbursement from their insurance companies as part of their generous out-of-network benefits. I will provide a receipt and necessary documents to obtain reimbursement at each visit.
